About Me
I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics at the University of Ottawa, studying the variability in ice dynamics on Axel Heiberg Island in the Canadian Arctic. My research focuses on glaciers experiencing ice-flow instabilities (commonly known as surge-type glaciers). I am interested in the physical mechanisms which trigger and control the dramatic velocity fluctuations and geometry changes observed at certain glaciers.
