Hi! My name is Taylor Biccum, I completed the Geographic Information Systems Graduate Certificate Program through Algonquin College in 2021/2022. Currently I am completing my co-op with Environment and Climate Change Canada working primarily with Remote Sensing Optical Data. 

Thank you to my teachers for the nomination and the opportunity for the ESRI GIS Scholarship. Prior to beginning my Graduate Certificate in Ottawa I received a Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Manitoba. I spent several years afterwards working within the lab and field settings of aquatic ecosystems and water quality. During this time I became more familiar working with GIS and realized that there was a lot to learn and that it would be a beneficial skill to have. I look forward to working within the GIS industry and improving the skills I have learned through the Algonquin College program.
