About Me
I am currently a Master's student in environmental studies at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After completing a B.Sc. at Queen's University, I decided I wanted to continue my studies, focusing specifically on fisheries and marine management. Throughout my time at Dalhousie, I have undertaken a research project exploring how Canada's most valuable fishery, a lobster fishery in southwestern Nova Scotia, interacts with sensitive groundfish species. Merging qualitative stakeholder research with geospatial analysis, this research takes a bottom-up approach to resource management.

In my own words...
Receiving the ESRI Canada Scholarship was a happy surprise for me. As a relatively new user of GIS, I am excited to continue learning the ins and outs of ArcGIS beyond my time at Dalhousie University. I look forward to meeting new, like-minded people at the User Conference this Fall in Toronto.
