
Omar Algiasena is a surveying engineer who graduated from the University of Baghdad with a B.Sc. degree. He worked on multiple oil and gas projects in the United Arab Emirates from 2006 to 2016, where he contributed to the development of innovative solutions for enhancing safety and preventive maintenance activities. In 2019, Omar completed an advanced certificate in GIS from Okanagan College and was awarded a GIS scholarship from ESRI. Currently, he is pursuing a B.Tech degree in GIS from BCIT and is in his final year of studies. Omar aims to apply his GIS expertise in either government or private sectors. Some of my works here.
