About Me

Hi, I am Erin! I was born and raised in southeast China. In 2017, I achieved a BSc in GIScience at Nanjing Forestry University, China. Moving to Fredericton, Canada, I started to work on spatial analysis applied to forest ecology at the University of New Brunswick, where I received my MSc in Forestry. In 2019, I moved to Calgary and kicked off my Ph.D. journey in the Department of Geomatics Engineering at the University of Calgary. Now, I am a Ph.D. candidate, committed to analyzing and predicting natural disturbances and hazards by adopting Discrete Global Grids technologies.
