About Me
I completed an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information Systems at Selkirk College in April 2017. This diploma complements my degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria.
I am passionate about our environment, especially within the context of our changing climate. I am eager to contribute to initiatives striving to mitigate negative impacts of climate change and develop effective adaptation strategies. I am interested in sustainable resource management, conservation and ecological restoration, as well as emergency planning and disaster management. I chose to further my education within GIS as I see these areas of interest benefiting from GIS applications.
