About Me
I am currently on the path to becoming a geoarchaeologist, having completed an associate degree in environmental studies at Okanagan College and the UNBC archaeology field school. In my current phase of education, I am completing a GIS Certificate in an intensive five month course that ends in May, 2016. My academic interests are in coastal and underwater archaeology, archaeological site formation, and resource patterns. In addition to academic pursuits and interests, I am a veteran of overseas operations with the Canadian Armed Forces, a certified scientific and commercial diver, and avid reader.

In my own words...
This scholarship is helping me become more involved in the areas of research that I am interested in, and putting the tools in my hands to allow me to produce my own contributions to them. Looking towards geoarchaeology, this is a phenomenal advantage.
