The Esri Canada Scholarship award will allow me to continue to develop ways to apply GIS in my area of interest - environmental science. As I embark on a Masters in Environmental Studies involving change in the mountains of British Columbia, access to Esri products and resources will greatly benefit me. The scholarship will enable me to pursue GIS projects on my own time. It will set me up for future academic and professional pursuits, including my ambition to become a certified landscape architect.
