I have been working in forest ecology and management in government, for non profits, and in consulting for 16 years. I am primarily interested in fire regimes, historical ecology, and ecological disturbance. I currently use historical oblique angle photography from over 100 years ago to examine ecological changes in disturbance and vegetation structure since European settlement of the southern Rocky Mountain region of Alber
