I am currently a PhD candidate at the Spatial Analysis and Modeling (SAM) lab at Simon Fraser University studying Geoinformation science. I received my bachelor's in Geography at the University of Ghana and MSc in Environmental management from the University of Kiel (Germany). My current research entails developing and implementing novel geospatial techniques such as spherical spatial models to simulate complex spatial systems at the global level and considering the impacts of climate change on human systems. This involves approaches such and complex systems theories, geographic automata modeling, discrete global grid systems (DGGS), and land-use/land-cover change analyses. In my free time, I enjoys drawing, cooking, watching sports and photography.
