About Me

Hello,

My name is Abdirahman Ahmed and I am very enthusiastic about GIS & Remote Sensing Applications, especially regarding the environment. I have recently graduated from Trent University and am due to start my MSc in GIS at the University of Aberdeen this upcoming fall (2023).

I think I've found my passion and look forward to working in this discipline for the foreseeable future. Please don't hesitate to reach out and connect with me. Im always looking to meet people with the same interests who are either working in or studying GIS and related fields.

The following link is the poster I've created for the ESRI award I received. This was my honours thesis for my BSc and used remote sensing and GIS technology to monitor forest cover change in an area experiencing deforestation for charcoal production.
