"The Esri Canada Scholarship not only provides students with valuable resources and networking opportunities to broaden their GIS skills, but also demonstrates a level of support and community that encourages future pursuits in GIS. I feel very grateful to be part of that community as a scholarship recipient and am excited to make the most of what this opportunity provides in terms of software access and training opportunities."

About Me
I am a PhD candidate at the University of Ottawa in the Department of Geography, Environment, and Geomatics, studying the dynamic response of White Glacier, Axel Heiberg Island, to recent Arctic warming over the past half-century. This research involves comparison of historic and contemporary maps, ice velocity measurements, and ice thickness changes to assess the stability of the response of this glacier to enhanced Arctic warming.
