"Winning the Esri Canada 2015 Scholarship has been a validation of the hard work that I had put into learning the GIS program at Sault College as a Science Without Borders exchange student. Without any prior knowledge in this area combined with English as a second language, some challenges had to be overcome for the perfect conclusion of this project. This award and all material received which included books, courses, perpetual software license and the payment mean a professional and personal contribution to me. In addition, the competence and curriculum acquired in GIS with this award will be a substantial contribution for my future academic career in water management field at a water institute around world."
