I feel very honored winning the award; it is a great opportunity for students to showcase the fruits of the labour not only to their peers, but also to the community and the industry. Winning the award lets me improve York University's reputation and also our own Geomatics Engineering department's reputation. Once again, I am grateful for Esri for having a huge contribution to promoting Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and education through their awards and scholarships. The scholarship will allow me to continue learning and developing my skills in GIS even further than before.
